"CONGRATULATIONS galore on your wonderful CD. What a wonderful and special CD you've made, Ava. I've been playing it for my son on the car ride to school and he loves it. He particulary loves the ABC song, Neener Neener Neener, and Leonard's Lizard Larry. He requests the CD frequently in the car which is a very good sign. I love the cover of the CD. Fantastic painting, Brian...and so cheerful and fun. I still can't get over your amazing attention to detail. Once again, (Ava) thank you so much for sharing your wonderful creation with us."

"I really enjoy your jazzy approach to kids music- and especially the Professor Longhair-influenced "Owee" song. Keep up the great work!" Tito (The Hipwaders)

“Nicely produced and performed celebration of the wonders of the world without and within and with just a dash of whimsy thrown in for good measure.” John Wood, Kidzmusic.com

This CD is for everyone!
"If you think Elephants in my Ears is just for kids, think again! The music and lyrics on this CD are just great. Lots of fun jazzy songs that really keep your toes tapping. One of my favorites is In My Own Little Tree House, just reminds me so much of great childhood memories. For anyone that knows children, or is still a child at heart this music is for you. The messages contained in the songs are beneficial to one and all. I will be purchasing several for my friends and their children. I will be looking forward to more great music from Ava and the Mystic Mangos!!!" Vicki Tomlinson

“My cockatiel sings whenever she hears your singing and the cats just jam!” Santi

"I believe so much in Ava's children's music. They are songs that
recall childhood before ADHD, before kids were drugged and driven to
either overachieve or feel inadequate. When kids could safely play
without constant parental supervision and when kids used their
imagination to conceive characters more intriguing than those in
video games. When I was a kid, every adult on the block was a
surrogate parent. Maybe that childhood no longer exists but thank god
for this music that reminds us of what we may have lost." William Henry

"Your music is soooo cool!" Dee Settlemier (the Midnight Serenaders)

“Lovely stuff. Bless.” Mellow Baku

“Wow...I love the happiness that I feel when I listen to your music.” Elli

"I love your music and the killer band you've assembled to play it!” Rick Gordon

“I feel refreshed now after listening to "Owee". Somehow it puts life in perspective. Thanks,” Singer-poet Lisa Bernstein

“My little girl loves your music. I’m just droppin’ you a line letting you know that my kids ..Joshua who is 5 and Emily who is 11 love (your) songs.” Stacey

"I purchased this for my 3 year old granddaughter as a Christmas present, but have nearly worn it out ! This ole Grandma loves every song, and will have to buy another cd ! Owee is perfect, get me a bandaid please ! I'm a dog is so catchy, you find yourself singing it all day, it's twu. You ought to buy one for every Christmas stocking.. you won't regret it!" Cuppa

"I, too, have Elephants in my ears!!
A friend told me her son thoroughly enjoyed this CD and insisted I buy a copy for my son. What a great work of music, lyrics and art this is. My wife, son and I drove across state listening to the CD (upon my son's insistance of course) and we ended up sounding like a choir on our way back having learned all the lyrics."
Kent

"I really enjoy listening to this CD. It is quite delightful!  Every track
is just great.  I love the concept of the music emphasizing diversity, using your resources like the library, counting in different languages and kids learning their ABC's in various languages. I love the voices of the children's choir.  The musicality is wonderful, and the drumming is fabulous!
Kudos to all associated with the CD.  My hats  off to the soloist, she has a beautiful voice. She sounds like the actress/singer Julie Andrews.  The CD is very educational and fun, with catchy lyrics and
music that makes one want to tap their feet, sing along, and smile.  I would definitely recommend this CD to the age group toddlers to elementary students and early middle school students."
Margaret

"Love flows throughout this music. Ava obviously loves to sing and tell stories, the kids who sing with her and the top notch musicians who back her up obviously love being a part of the process. The listener also feels a part of it all, as if she were right there in the studio taking it all in with a smile. Music for kids? Yeah, I guess so, but I challenge mom and dad to listen to "Rocket To The Moon" or "We All Make A Difference without movin' some part of your body to the beat and anyone who had a heart (I love that song too, maybe Ava will cover it on a future CD) is bound to get a lump in his throat listening to "I'm A Dog" or a tear in her eye as she tucks in her child with "Let Music Be The Wind" playing softly in the background. Feel the love."

Kids and Parents Adore!!

This is an awesome CD. Great for kids and parents. It is nice to hear more original music with my daughter. She has favorites! She loves "In my own little treehouse" and I love "Neener Neener". I also think the ABC 123 is wonderful in all the different languages. I can't wait for more from Ava and the Mystic Mangos!
